We have had quite a bit of rain the last couple of days which has made things soggy and muddy. Today Noah and I went out and played in the mud. The temperature was just right so we put on our mud pie makin' clothes and headed out. Noah loved squishing his toes in the mud and picking up mud clumps and squishing it in his hands. Everthing was dandy until he tried eating the mud...you should've seen his face...didn't like it much needless to say. Well, you can at least see the mud ring around his face in the pictures. Afterwards he took a bubble bath!

Very fun! That's exactly what little boys are supposed to do. Clara won't play in the mud, or the sand. When she gets it on her hands she says "Mess!" Then she whines for me to clean it off. She's a little prissy. I'm glad Noah's not that way :)
How fun, next year we'll have to bring Maribel over and have a mud fight ;)!
